The Forney Niners were formed in 2010. This organization was started by parents who loved the game of football and wanted to provide a structured opportunity for kids age 4-12 to learn the fundamentals of football.

Our goal is to teach the proper football technique which will allow them to play safe and protect themselves on the field. While under the direction of our experienced coaching staff your child will learn discipline, respect, self confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship and trust, just to name a few. Not only will these characteristics help them on the field, but most importantly they will help them off the field in dealing with life’s daily challenges our youth are faced with.

And what’s a football team without cheerleaders? You know we have to have a Spirit Squad to back up the boys on the field. We also have a Cheer Program for girls age 4-12.

We will play in the American Youth Football Association out of Rockwall, TX. If you would like professional coaching for your child, join Forney’s elite football organization…..Forney Niners! Flag (ages 4-6) NO weight limit

1A (ages 7-8) MAXIMUM weight to carry the ball, 100lbs

2A (ages 9-10) MAXIMUM weight to carry the ball, 120lbs

3A (ages 11-12) MAXIMUM weight to carry the ball, 140lbs

***ORIGINAL/CERTIFIED Birth Certificates are required at Certification, copies will NOT be accepted***

Flag registration includes:

1 F9 game jersey

1 F9 game pants

1 game belt for pants

1 pair of socks

Flags

**Cleats and mouth guards are required and are NOT included in the registration fee.

Tackle registration includes:

1 F9 game jersey

1 pair of F9 game pants

1 pair of F9 pads for pants

1 game belt for pants

1 pair of game socks

2 helmet decals

**Helmets, shoulder pads, chin-straps, cleats and mouth guards are required and are NOT included in the registration fee.

Cheer registration includes:

1 F9 game shell

1 F9 game shirt

1 pair of bloomers

1 pair of game socks

1 pair of game shoes

1 set of pom poms

1 hair bow

We are now accepting enrollment for the fall season for kids ages 4-12 on July 1st.

Kids ages 4-6 will play flag football. Kids 7-12 will play tackle.
